Sitting Still...

What does it take to get a 21-month old little boy sit still? A yucky virus doesn't hurt, but we have found a less painful trick...

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!!!

Dan and I have decided to squeeze in a couple of days at Disney World in between an Auburn game and a friend's beach wedding in October. Since Cooper has not been a TV watcher up until now, I decided he needed to know who Mickey Mouse is if we are going to visit Disney World. All it took was one video and he was hooked! He asks to watch the "mouse" non-stop! Finally sitting still- at least for a few minutes!

Cooper's First Potty Experience

Cooper has been obsessed with a book about using the potty that my mom gave him. We have read it about 75 times in the last two days, so Dan and I decided to get his potty chair out last night. He did not use it, but he sat on it for a while! My mom gave him this fancy potty for Easter, and we have just been waiting to pull it out and let Cooper sit on his throne- very appropriate for this spoiled little boy!

Cute kids t-shirts!

As I mentioned when I started this blog- I love checking out other people's blogs! I found two twin sister's blogs a few months ago who went to Auburn- Darby & Erika McPherson for those of you who may have known them. Erika is an interior designer who has inspiring posts almost everyday, and Darby is a mom to three young ones. Darby has started sewing and making t-shirts as a fun side job and here is this link to order this t-shirt! What a precious Auburn shirt for the little ones! Click here for info.

The dog has a home!

The sweet dog who made his way to our house a couple of weekends ago has found a new home! My friend, Emily, and her fiance, Russ, are quite the networkers! They found this dog a home so quickly that Dan cancelled the ad in the paper before it ever ran! A great family has adopted her and named her Molly! Thanks Emily & Russ!

Making Daddy Proud

How does a soccer ball cause so much controversy in our household? Since Dan and I have been married, his hobby of watching soccer on tv has always been one of the only things he does that gets under my skin. I cannot stand the sound of the games and it is so boring for me to watch. We even had to agree early on that we could not get the soccer channel in our bedroom! Well, this weekend I left for a few hours on Saturday, and when I returned home all Cooper wanted was to watch soccer on tv. Cooper barely notices the tv, but he has asked to watch soccer a hundred times since Saturday. I am trying to be more tolerant of both of my boys hobby now!

Yeah, Nanie!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Nanie (my sister, Natalie)! She took the DAT for entrance to dental school today and did VERY WELL!!! We are so proud of you- especially Cooper! He loves his Nanie! We are excited about you starting your senior year at Auburn and your dental future! (This is an old picture, I know, but by far the cutest I have!)
